Charge Registered Nurse RN - Oncology

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the assigned area. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during shifts, contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs to develop and distribute assignments, evaluating care effectiveness to identify issues affecting outcomes. Respond to patient care complaints through established channels and provide input on hiring, training, and staff development. This 22-bed Oncology unit also manages medical-surgical patients and performs procedures including biopsies and cholecystectomies.
