Charge Registered Nurse RN - Oncology

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the assigned area. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during shifts, contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs, develop care assignments, and evaluate the effectiveness of patient outcomes. Respond to complaints about patient care and manage them through established channels. Provide input for hiring, training, directing, and evaluating staff. This 22-bed Oncology unit also manages medical-surgical patients and procedures including biopsies and cholecystectomies.
