Charge Registered Nurse RN - Oncology

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the assigned area. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, including contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs to develop and distribute assignments for the 22-bed Oncology unit, which also manages medical-surgical patients and common surgical procedures like biopsies and EGDs. Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and manage complaints through established channels. Provide input for hiring, training, directing, and evaluating staff. Full-time nights shifts (7pm–7am) with 3–12 hour rotations.
