Charge Registered Nurse RN - Oncology

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership to ensure implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff while contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs, develop and distribute assignments, and evaluate the effectiveness of care to identify issues affecting outcomes. Respond to complaints about patient care through established channels and provide input for hiring, training, and staff development. This role operates in a 22-bed oncology unit at UAB St. Vincent's East, covering full-time nights from 7pm to 7am.
