Charge Registered Nurse RN - Oncology

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the assigned area. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during shifts, contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs, develop patient care assignments, and evaluate the effectiveness of care to identify issues affecting outcomes. Respond to complaints about patient care and manage them through established channels. May provide input for hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of staff. This 22-bed oncology unit also serves medical-surgical patients and performs procedures including biopsies and cholecystectomies.
