Charge Registered Nurse RN - Oncology

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the assigned area. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, including contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs to develop and distribute assignments, ensuring population-appropriate care is given for cancer patients and medical-surgical cases ranging from pneumonia to CHF. Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care to identify issues affecting desired outcomes and respond to complaints through established channels. May provide input for hiring, training, directing, and evaluating staff. Full-time nights shifts (7pm–7am) with 3–12 hour rotations.
