Charge Registered Nurse RN - Oncology

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the assigned area. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during 3-12 hour shifts from 7pm to 7am. Assess daily patient care needs, distribute assignments, and evaluate the effectiveness of patient outcomes. Respond to complaints about patient care and manage them through established channels. Contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff and provide input for hiring, training, and development. This 22-bed Oncology unit also manages medical-surgical patients and supports procedures including biopsies and cholecystectomies.
