Charge Registered Nurse RN - Oncology

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the assigned area. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs to develop and distribute assignments for a 22-bed oncology unit that also manages medical-surgical patients with conditions ranging from pneumonia to CHF. Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care, identify issues affecting outcomes, and respond to complaints through established channels. May provide input for hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of staff. Full-time nights shifts (7pm-7am) with 3-12 hour rotations.
