Charge Registered Nurse RN - Oncology

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the assigned area. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs, develop and distribute patient care assignments, and evaluate the effectiveness of care to identify issues affecting desired outcomes. Respond to complaints about patient care and manage them through established channels, while providing input for hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of staff. This 22-bed Oncology unit also manages medical-surgical patients and common surgical procedures such as biopsies and cholecystectomies.
