Charge Registered Nurse RN - Oncology

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs to develop and distribute assignments, evaluating care effectiveness to identify issues affecting patient outcomes. Respond to patient care complaints through established channels and provide input for hiring, training, and staff development. This role supports the 22-bed 5 East Oncology unit, which also manages medical-surgical patients and performs procedures like biopsies and cholecystectomies.
