Job Summary
Accurately perform patient assessments, identify needs, and initiate appropriate nursing interventions for a 20-bed Neuro Science unit serving spine, neck, head surgery, stroke, and seizure patients. Provide timely documentation, complete and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans, and conduct QI assessments. Maintain self-scheduling flexibility with 12-hour shifts and every-other-weekend rotation. Requires current state RN license, BLS within 30 days, and ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS within six months. 2-4 years of Neuro/Ortho experience and Charge Nurse experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Current state RN license
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
- ACLS certification within six months of hire
- PALS certification within six months of hire
- NIHSS certification within six months of hire
