Charge Registered Nurse / RN Med Surg

Lead the Medical/Surgical unit as the night shift Charge RN, exercising full leadership authority and shift accountability for nursing care delivery through the nursing process. Serve as an extension of the leadership team, including the director, manager, nursing supervisor, clinical preceptor, and house supervisor, ensuring consistent standards across the 365-bed facility. Maintain BLS certification within 14 days of hire and require at least one year of Staff RN experience on a Med-Surg unit. This role supports the center's 1,200+ employees and 27-bed ER/Fast Track Unit within Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center, utilizing advanced technology to enhance patient-focused care.
