Charge Registered Nurse / RN Med Surg

Lead the delivery of nursing care on the Medical/Surgical unit as the Charge Registered Nurse, exercising leadership authority and shift accountability through the nursing process. Act as an extension of the leadership team, including the director, manager, nursing supervisor, clinical preceptor, and house supervisor, while managing the unit's 365 beds. Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, New Jersey RN licensure, and at least one year of Staff RN experience on a Medical/Surgical unit, with BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire. This night shift, full-time role is based at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center, an 820,000-square-foot facility featuring a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.
