Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee daily nursing operations on your assigned unit while supporting and mentoring nursing staff to promote teamwork. Ensure delivery of safe, compassionate, patient-centered care and partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve the best patient outcomes. Serve as a clinical resource and role model for nursing excellence while helping maintain compliance with nursing standards, policies, and best practices. Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of employment
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS certification is preferred upon hire and required within 90 days of employment
- ACLS is required on Day 1 for Charge Nurses working in ICU and High Observation units
Desired Qualifications
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred, but not required
- Emergency or critical care nursing
- Ventilator, tracheostomy, and PICC line management
- Two or more years of direct patient care experience
