Job Summary
Manage patient and staff in the assigned ER area, ensuring efficient patient flow and appropriate supply usage. Collaborate with unit managers to develop and revise policies, procedures, and protocols. Serve as the departmental liaison and first line of contact with patients, providers, and staff. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Operate as a night shift, full-time Charge RN at Lovelace Medical Center, an acute care hospital providing comprehensive emergency and surgical services.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or Diploma of Nursing
- One (1) year of Charge Nurse experience in a hospital setting OR more than one year of clinical or management experience
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
- Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
