Charge Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Services

Supervise and mentor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, determining staffing levels and assignments based on census, patient acuity, and work flow. Provide direct patient care as needed, float between staff to assist with problem-solving, and take patient assignments to meet staffing needs. Evaluate patient care effectiveness, respond to complaints, and manage issues through established channels. Enter orders, perform admissions or discharges, coordinate transfers, ensure necessary equipment and supplies, and integrate evidence-based practices into protocols. Create an environment encouraging professional growth while utilizing specialized plan-of-care interventions to shape exceptional patient journeys.
