Charge Registered Nurse / RN Clinical Decision Unit

Manage the Clinical Decision Unit shift under the Nurse Manager, overseeing quality of care and making patient assignments. Serve as the primary liaison to the House Supervisor regarding major unit occurrences and provide first-level supervision to nursing personnel. Support staff by assuming patient loads, assisting with admissions and procedures, and solving patient care issues. Mentor new associates and participate in the annual performance review process while assessing patient needs and revising care plans. Adhere to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act and maintain BLS and ACLS certifications.
