Charge Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Telemetry/ Congestive Heart Failure

Charge Registered Nurse (RN) on the Green 5 West Heart Failure/Cardiac Telemetry unit. Responsible for directing daily unit activities on an assigned night shift to ensure safe, high-quality patient care; oversees the nursing process, rounds on patients, and coordinates care with an interdisciplinary team. Leads leadership tasks such as staff scheduling, unit patient flow, physician rounding, committee involvement, and maintains alignment with the WellStar Nursing Practice Model and evidence-based practice. Supports care for high-risk cardiac patients, including those undergoing pre/post electrophysiology procedures and heart failure management, while upholding standards of safety, quality, and patient-family education.
