Charge Registered Nurse

Coordinate and lead daily rounds, including RN assignments, documentation, and afternoon check-ins with the Case Manager. Manage daily staff assignments, participate in patient discharge conferences, and maintain timely systems entry for centralized patient placement, acuity ranking, and census. Monitor care delivery for quality and timeliness, round the floor to ensure safe work assignments, and support staff with admissions, transfers, and discharges. Document accident/incident reports, orient new care partners, and facilitate bedside shift reports using SBAR. Ensure white boards are updated and promote hourly rounding. Follow the chain of command and exemplify the Culture of Choice®. Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, one year of experience, and Florida RN licensure with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. Schedule is 7:00am-7:30pm per diem with 12 standard hours.
