Job Summary
Charge Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical leads unit staffing, directs and educates nursing and support staff per shift, participates in staff performance evaluations, coordinates patient care assignments with a focus on population-appropriate care, collaborates with advanced practice providers to ensure quality outcomes, evaluates care effectiveness and addresses issues through established channels, and may contribute to hiring, training and staff development while maintaining alertness and safety throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- One year of registered nurse experience
- State of Work Location: Illinois RN license or Compact State license and BLS HCP certification; State of Work Location: Missouri RN license and BLS HCP; State of Work Location: Oklahoma RN license and BLS HCP; State of Work Location: Wisconsin RN license and BLS HCP
