Job Summary
Assign and direct nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, while assessing daily patient care needs and distributing assignments to ensure population-appropriate care. Collaborate with advanced practice providers to ensure quality outcomes, evaluate care effectiveness, and manage patient care complaints through established channels. Contribute to performance evaluations and provide input for hiring, training, and staff development. Maintain a constant state of alertness and safe manner while performing other duties as assigned. Work the evening shift (3p-3a) on the 19-bed Cardiac Med Surg unit in the 6 South wing.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- One year of registered nurse experience
