Charge Registered Nurse (Charge RN)

Coordinate and supervise nursing staff during shifts to ensure high-quality patient care, delegating assignments based on patient acuity and skill levels. Monitor patient care activities, assist in complex or emergency cases, and participate in shift huddles, hand-offs, and staff rounding. Act as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, patients, families, and ancillary departments while ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards. Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records, preferably Athena EMR, and assist in orienting new staff. Provide input to management on staffing, supplies, and performance improvement. Requires a current Georgia RN license, 2–3 years clinical experience, and BLS certification.
