Job Summary
Conduct radiologic examinations utilizing sophisticated imaging equipment while adhering to ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure. Manage exam workflow, address equipment and safety concerns, and collaborate with multiple departments. Provide staff training and coordinate with physicians to ensure optimal high-quality images for individual patient needs. Perform all examinations with proper positioning factors and radiation dose calibration.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire
- Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- OBMI temporary license
- Permanent license within 6 months of hire
