Job Summary
Conduct imaging examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing sophisticated equipment to produce optimal high-quality images while adhering to ALARA principles. Manage exam workflow, address equipment and safety concerns, and coordinate with multiple departments within the facility. Provide staff training and apply clinical judgment regarding proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment needs. Perform duties during evening shifts with a 10-hour schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire
- Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- OBMI temporary license
- Permanent license within 6 months of hire
