Job Summary
Conduct imaging examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing sophisticated equipment to produce optimal high-quality images with minimal radiation exposure. Manage exam workflow, address equipment and safety concerns, and provide staff training while collaborating with multiple departments. Apply clinical judgment for proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment tailored to individual and age-related needs. Perform duties during evening shifts with full-time commitment.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire
- Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- OBMI temporary license
- Permanent license within 6 months of hire
