Job Summary
Charge Nurse supervising staff on the designated shift and coordinating unit flow; ensures staff meet Standards of Practice, manages personnel and unit activities, and participates in performance appraisals. Provides patient care as needed and utilizes nursing skills to assess biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, and educational needs to develop, implement, and revise the plan of care for the patient population served. Requires two years acute experience and an active California RN license, with BLS and ACLS (within 3 months), plus NIH Stroke Scale Certification (within 3 months). Pay range shown is hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the State of California
- BLS required
- ACLS required within 3 months of hire/transfer
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification "A" required within three (3) months of hire/transfer
