Job Summary
Charge Nurse overseeing weekend night shifts in a hybrid emergency room and urgent care setting. Acts as resource nurse, coordinates care on designated shifts, provides leadership to unit staff, manages staffing fluctuations, addresses immediate staff concerns, and coordinates patient flow while delivering direct patient care. Requires RN license in Indiana (or compact), BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certification, and at least one year of nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of approved nursing program
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required
- PALS required within 12 months of hire
- ACLS required within 12 months of hire
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 10 weeks of hire
- One year of nursing experience required
