Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high acuity, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness, a multidisciplinary team approach, and safety at the point of care while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Contribute to exceptional outcomes in a fast-paced clinical environment. Full-time nights shift with 72 hours per pay period.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program within three years of assuming the Charge RN position
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 1 year of nursing experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role
- Work nights
