Job Summary
Direct patient care in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units of moderate to high patient acuity, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care, ensuring wellness and a patient perspective in a fast-paced environment. This onsite role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within three years of assuming the Charge RN position, state RN licensure, and one year of nursing experience. BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is mandatory, with cards required in hand before start date and good through sixty days of hire. Full-time night shift employment includes a 72-hour pay period with a quarterly incentive program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program within three years of assuming the Charge RN position
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 1 year of nursing experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role
