Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate health care needs for patients ranging from infants to geriatrics under the direction of the Nurse Manager. Provide direct and indirect nursing care according to established practice standards, while collaborating with the health care team to meet unit and hospital goals. Maintain current unrestricted RN licensure in South Carolina, BCLS, and ACLS certifications, with PALS required. Float to other comparable nursing units as requested. Work full-time 36-hour shifts on a 3-12s day schedule at East Cooper Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, SC.
Required Qualifications
- One year Clinical Experience
- Current unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina
- Current BCLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- 2 Year / Associate Degree
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
- Current PALS certification
- Advanced certification in specialty field
- Participation in professional organization(s)
