Assess and reassess patient needs, analyze findings to determine nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes, and implement evidence-based interventions guided by current policy. Evaluate patient outcomes using critical thinking to recognize problems and reach sound conclusions. Serve as the department leader alongside and in the absence of the Nurse Manager, while maintaining ACLS certification. Oversee and promote bedside handoffs at shift changes. Work nights with evening, weekend, and night differentials, earning $31.31-$51.14/hr.
