Job Summary
Direct and oversee daily unit activities to ensure safe patient care delivery, including making patient assignments, rounding with physicians, managing bed flow, and coordinating emergency services staffing. Proactively plan care across the continuum, monitor equipment inventory, and lead interdisciplinary rounds to evaluate quality and appropriateness of treatment. Serve as a preceptor for new grads and mentor staff while maintaining compliance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and WellStar's shared governance model. Work full-time nights (36 hours weekly or 3/12s) at Windy Hill Hospital, supporting the mission to enhance health and well-being through compassionate, evidence-based practice.
Required Qualifications
- RN license
