Job Summary
Direct and oversee daily unit activities, including making patient assignments, managing bed flow, and rounding with physicians. Coordinate resources and staffing during surges, monitor equipment inventory, and lead interdisciplinary rounds to evaluate care quality. Perform or supervise the nursing process, conduct daily patient reviews for discharge planning, and manage emergency service assignments. Mentor staff as a preceptor, ensure compliance with professional standards, and drive performance improvement initiatives. Work full-time nights (36 hours/week or 3/12s) at Windy Hill Hospital within the WellStar Shared Governance Model.
Required Qualifications
