Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments, identify needs, and initiate appropriate nursing interventions for respiratory failure and cardiac conditions in a 22-bed PCU/Telemetry unit. Manage interdisciplinary care plans, perform timely documentation, and execute QI assessments while maintaining a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio. Complete sign-on bonus requirements and fulfill certification timelines for BLS, ACLS, and PALS within specified periods. Work rotating night shifts (7p-7a) with 3x12s scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of North Carolina or from a compact state
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification
- AHA ACLS certification
- AHA PALS certification
