Job Summary

Direct and oversee daily unit activities by making patient assignments, reviewing discharge lengths of stay, and coordinating surgery bed availability. Round with physicians, manage emergency services sections, and consult on bed flow to ensure efficient patient care delivery. Lead interdisciplinary rounds, perform or oversee the nursing process, and provide peer coaching to maintain quality and safety standards. Mentor staff as a preceptor while ensuring compliance with Georgia Nurse Practice Act and WellStar protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • RN license
  • Knowledge of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
