Job Summary
Schedules, leads, and coordinates day-to-day activities of clinic nursing support staff, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, FHS policies, and accepted nursing protocols. Manages patient scheduling, flow, triage, and clinical support staff while overseeing medical equipment, supply inventory, and ancillary patient services. Provides direct nursing services, patient triage, and quality assurance activities, leading and supervising employees to ensure full coverage of patient care needs. Resolves conflicts, monitors performance, and participates in program development and policy implementation. Coordinates services with other departments and maintains communication with the community liaison.
Required Qualifications
- State of Idaho licensed LPN or RN
- at least two (2) years experience in a family practice setting
- at least one (1) year of experience as a supervisor
- Advanced, specialized nursing skills as appropriate to a family practice clinic
- Knowledge of the specific day-to-day needs of patients within a family practice setting
- Knowledge of accreditation and certification requirements and standards
- Ability to provide professional guidance, instruction, and leadership to nursing and related patient care staff
- Proficiency working in EHR systems
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively work with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
- Organizing and coordinating skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to coordinate and promote quality assurance initiatives within the clinic setting
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures

- Bilingual English/Spanish
- preferably Nextgen
- Ability to converse in the Spanish language
