Job Summary
Lead and support nursing care in the Critical Care/Surgical Trauma unit during night shifts. Provide direct patient care, oversee care coordination, collaborate with the patient care team, and mentor other nurses. Maintain professional licensure and certifications (ACLS/BLS), uphold confidentiality and safety standards, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and ensure effective communication with patients, families, and the care team. Drive quality care, patient satisfaction, and adherence to hospital policies through leadership and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma
- RN licensure (state or compact)
- ACLS
- BLS
- Night shift experience
- Leadership/mentorship experience
- Professional nursing practice standards
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- RN licensure (state) or multi-state compact
- Ability to supervise and mentor nursing staff
- Experience in critical care or surgical trauma nursing
- Night shift experience
- Strong communication and patient-family advocacy skills
