Job Summary
Charge Nurse (RN) position at Cottonwood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Durango, CO for the day shift. Supervises and supports nursing staff, coordinates resident care including admissions, transfers, and discharges, administers medications and treatments, monitors resident conditions, and communicates changes to physicians and the interdisciplinary team. Ensures quality resident care and compliance with state and federal regulations; completes accurate documentation and assists with staffing assignments. Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a Compact State
- Prefer at least one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Previous Charge Nurse or leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills
