Job Summary
The Charge Nurse RN is responsible for developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and nursing agencies. This role requires providing skilled nursing care while adhering to established safety and quality standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for establishing rapport with medical staff, residents, and families. The candidate must possess a valid Texas RN license, a minimum of one year of clinical experience, and a solid understanding of professional nursing principles and state and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Texas State license as a Registered Nurse
- A minimum of 1 year of clinical care experience as a Registered Nurse
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Proficient in interpersonal skills
- Skillful in communication, organizational, documentation, and time management
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of the principles and techniques of professional nursing
- Familiarity in State and Federal medical regulations
