Job Summary
Charge Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Intervention & EP supports directing and overseeing daily unit activities during Day shift on a part-time basis, with responsibility for staffing coordination, patient flow, and leadership of an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe cardiac care. The role includes assigning patients, coordinating with care managers and physicians, ensuring adherence to nursing practice standards, promoting evidence-based care, rounds on patients, and acting as a mentor/preceptor to staff and students. Requires RN licensure in Georgia and active engagement in hospital nursing leadership activities within WellStar Kennestone Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Active nursing license as Registered Nurse (RN) in Georgia (GA)
- BLS certification (and ACLS as applicable)
- ability to practice in hospital setting and lead care teams
