Job Summary
Assess patient conditions and make timely determinations of needs while supervising nursing staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring smooth unit operations. Provide direct support to all staff members, facilitate clear communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, and perform timely documentation relating to medical necessity. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards through engagement with PI and other initiatives, collaborating across disciplines to coordinate patient care, transfers, discharges, and psychosocial support needs. Requires current Nevada RN license, Associate's degree, and ACLS certification within 30 days of hire. Schedule includes three shifts from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am.
Required Qualifications
- Current Nevada State RN license
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Minimum of (1) year RN experience in an acute hospital setting
