Job Summary
RN Clinical Charge Nurse directs daily unit activities on an assigned shift to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include staff scheduling, unit patient flow, physician rounding, bed-flow coordination, and ensuring adherence to nursing processes and evidence-based practice. The role involves leadership tasks, staffing during surges, precepting/mentoring team members, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to uphold safety and patient-centered care. Must be a licensed RN with current certifications, able to lead and communicate effectively, and capable of ensuring compliance with policy and regulatory standards. Location: Evans, GA; shift variety.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN License (Georgia) or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- National certification in area of specialty (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience (Required) or Minimum 2 years as relief charge with clinical expertise
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
