Job Summary
RN Clinical Charge Nurse directs and oversees daily unit activities on the assigned shift to assure safe, high-quality patient care. The role acts as a clinical leader—managing staff schedules, unit patient flow, and providing subject-matter expertise for clinical concerns while collaborating with nurses and physicians. The position requires nursing leadership, strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills, with emphasis on delivering age-appropriate, culturally aware patient care and adherence to nursing practice standards. Night shift (7pm-7am) in Roswell, GA, within WellStar facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing as an Associate Degree/Diploma Nurse
- Current/active license as a registered nurse in the State of Georgia
- Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association on the first day of employment
- National certification in area of specialty preferred
- One year of nursing experience required, two years preferred
- BSN degree preferred
