Job Summary
Charge Nurse (RN) for 4S Acute Care Surgery at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center. Full-time Days (36 hours/week across 3/12 shifts). Oversees and coordinates patient care, delivers nursing services, supports performance improvement, mentors junior staff, and upholds confidentiality and professional standards. Responsibilities include patient care planning and coordination, documentation of assessments and outcomes, patient advocacy, education for patients and families, and contributing to shared governance. Requires active nursing license, BLS, and multi-state or single-state RN licensure as applicable; Associate/Diploma/Bachelor’s nursing education preferred with a focus on professional growth and leadership in an acute care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- BLS - Basic Life Support (Instructor or Basic Life Support)
- RN-COMPACT or RN - Multi-state Compact OR RN - Reg Nurse (Single State)
