Job Summary
Charge Nurse leads shift on the Medical Step-Down Unit (2RS), providing direct and indirect nursing care under the Nursing Director. Responsible for coordinating a multidisciplinary team, directing and educating nursing personnel to achieve optimal patient outcomes, and upholding Manatee Memorial Hospital policies and service-excellence standards. Positions available for full-time night shift with supervisory responsibilities and opportunities for professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN licensure in Florida
- Minimum of one (1) year of acute care experience required
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- BSN Preferred
- Current BLS through American Heart Association
- Current ACLS through American Heart Association
