Job Summary
Charge Nurse leads the Long-Term Care (LTC) nursing team, providing clinical oversight and support to staff, coordinating care with physicians, therapists, social services, dietary, and other interdisciplinary team members, and ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations. Responsibilities include assisting the Director of LTC with daily operations, supervising staff, conducting resident assessments and care planning, documenting care, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and serving in the MDS Coordinator role as needed. Must have an active Nevada RN license, with strong leadership and communication abilities and proficiency in clinical documentation and EMR; shifts are overnight, Mon-Fri, in a resident-centered care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Long-Term Care regulations
- Proficient in clinical documentation and electronic medical records
- Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and leadership skills
