Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity while utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Lead a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes, prioritize patient wellness, and model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This onsite night shift role at UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO, requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing within three years of hire, RN licensure, one year of experience, and current BLS certification. Full-time 0.900 FTE with a 72-hour pay period includes a quarterly night shift incentive program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program within three years of assuming the Charge RN position
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 1 year of nursing experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role
