Job Summary
Charge Nurse in the Orthopedic and Neuro Unit responsible for patient care and leadership. Engage in assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Requires the ability to prioritize treatment, communicate effectively, and utilize nursing standards. Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Maryland, with an Associate's degree in Nursing, and CPR certified. Full-time day shift with weekend and holiday commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Eligible for or currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in State of Maryland or compact state
- Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- BLS certification is required of ALL nurses within 90-days of hire
- Clinical competency in their departmental area of practice
- Ability to use technology and equipment to perform job duties
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle a physically demanding environment
Additional Requirements
- Must maintain current knowledge and skills in providing appropriate care/contact for patients in designated age groups
