Job Summary
Charge Nurse in the Operating Room – Part Time in Salt Lake City, UT. Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care in a fast-paced OR setting with strong clinical judgment and adherence to nursing standards. Requires RN with current state license and BCLS, plus leadership experience (minimum 1 year in management) and OR experience (minimum 3 years preferred). Responsibilities include patient care, accurate documentation, infection control, safety, performance improvement, delegation, and collaboration with the healthcare team, along with flexibility in staffing and scheduling. Emphasis on professional accountability, ongoing education, and acting as a positive role model for peers and new staff.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State
- Current BCLS certification
- Minimum one (1) year in management position
- Minimum three (3) years in the OR as an RN preferred
