Job Summary
Coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle and manage operational issues during the evening shift. Provide clinical care as needed when census demands arise, communicate patient care and departmental issues to appropriate leaders, and serve as a resource for guidance and assistance to staff. Maintain current Georgia RN licensure or NLC/eNLC multistate license with required BLS and ACLS certifications. This role requires one year of hospital nursing experience with two years preferred and a Bachelor's degree. Full-time evening schedule with call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Must have graduated from a nursing program.
- One (1) Year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is required.
- Current License in the state of Georgia as a registered nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS and ACLS Certification is required.
- Must obtain certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.
- Demonstrated clinical competency.
